World Sepsis Day

World Sepsis Day

Last week was ‘World Sepsis Day’. Sepsis (blood poisoning) kills at least 44,000 people in the UK every year, yet it is rarely recognized or mentioned. It can be easily treated if spotted and treated early so the UK Sepsis Trust are calling for the healthcare community to look for it earlier and for the public to ask “Could it be Sepsis?”
